At Sea Ayre Suris we specialize in the rare Suri Alpaca with emphasis on the Accoyo bloodlines.
Our alpaca adventures began in July of 2002 after reading an article about docile, low-maintenance, humming creatures that could provide a very rewarding and profitable life style—ALPACAS. After several months of research and visiting several alpaca farms, we purchased our first two female Suri Alpacas in December of 2002.
Our living in downtown Chicago required that our alpacas be boarded. Yet, we wanted to be hands-on owners and would visit monthly and “help” with routine maintenance. We soon decided that visits were not going to be enough for us and knew that we needed to make these beautiful animals part of our daily lives. Thus, our journey from city to country began.
Our farm includes an alpaca friendly barn and 14 acres of green pasture, all designed specifically with the health and safety of our animals in mind, and is located in Cameron, South Carolina.
